Okanagan Naturist Association Request Everyone To Stay In Respect For 2015 Beach Season.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Penticton, Canada - April 8, 2015 - Okanagan Naturist Association in No way condones the use of any Public beaches in the Penticton area for Naturist/Nudist activity, except beaches previously appointed by the Mayor. Though city councillor's words could be misinterpreted for people to believe otherwise, ONA wanted to be sure that its membership and general public continue to only use naturist appointed public locations, private locations and more secluded crown land hiking trails for Naturist sunbathing and health practice’s.
ONA would also like to send forward its respect to the “Actual” community at Three Mile Road area, as well as the clothed tourist who were forced from the beach by paid bullies last summer. We open our hands and invite the community of Three Mile area to work together with ONA and its affliates for 2015 summer season.
We ask you to join us, in and for the protection of all of our women, children and vulnerable community members, wearing textiles or not, from any form of abuse that potentially could happen this beach season. By our communities co-creating a balanced beach schedule with the City of Penticton and RCMP, to assure respect, etiquette and safety. Not only to your small Community, but to ONA's Naturist/Nudist, the Coalition and the general public who have used Three Mile Clothing Optional beach traditionally over the years.
ONA hopes the very best under the Okanagan Sun for the 2015 summer season, and look forward to working with our local community during this global transitional time, of body acceptance.
